Look I'm Blogging!

So do you ever have one of those days where you're stomach really starts to hurt? Not like nauseas but just a little pain and grumbling. So you start to go in this silent (or vocal depending who's around) dialogue with your stomach, first starting calmly with "what's the matter with you?" then, as it persists into a growl (like Moses meowing for food) you start to get a little more and more frustrated until finally (once again vocal or silent depending on the setting) you begin firmly scolding, almost yelling at your stomach. You say "what did I do to you? Don't I treat you well, don't I give you nourishment, I do sit-ups for you, I feed you. By golly, the last time I fed you was..." Then suddenly you realize that you haven't eaten anything all day, you got too distracted with work and other random things. Then, shamefully, you pull out a lame apology to your stomach and walk to the kitchen, finally realizing how to please this mini-you. Then you eat, your stomach's happy, you're happy, and you find yourself with a lot more energy. You know what I mean by those kind of days? If not sorry, you just wasted a good three minutes to read this monologue. Probably time to go on to your next activity. Don't forget to eat though, your stomach sure as heck won't forget it.

Love, Sam
